Contracted Service Agreement Applications: The arts council contracts annually with its member non-profit groups for arts events that meet its constitutional mandate. Contracts are limited, and are entered into after a juried application process. To learn more about CSAs, read the “Introduction” below. To apply, complete Part 1 and submit with your event budget. If you have successfully applied, and have completed your arts event, submit Part 2, along with your income statement for the event and samples of publicity materials to receive your funding.

NOTE: For 2020 applications, please download the revised Introduction and Part 1. These have an extended, “open” deadline for one year only.

Fall Art Show and Sale: The 2020 Fall Art Show and Sale is on Saturday October 3 – Sunday October 4 at the Oliver Community Centre. The theme is “Seasons of Life”. All visual art media are encouraged, space permitting. Youth are also invited to enter. Unsure of your artistic media? Wine Capital Art Walk: CANCELLED The 2020 Wine Capital Art Walk will be held on Saturday May 9, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. along Station Street, Oliver. For an overview, read the Call for Artists. If you wish to display your own art or set up a demonstration area (in a local business) download the Display/Demo application. If you want to use a wine barrel (provided by us) for your artwork, download the Barrel Artist application. Be sure to read the terms and guidelines!
