Art AdVenture

FREE SUMMER PROGRAM
For kids age 5 – 13

Art AdVenture Oliver – Explore the World of Colourful Arts & Crafts (starting summer 2025). Fun Activities for Young Creatives. Join us for 2 weeks of artistic adventures and hands-on creations! Where imagination leads the way and every day is a masterpiece! Bring your imagination and have fun! 

CreateAbility

WORKSHOPS TO DEVELOP AND INSPIRE CREATIVE ENERGIES! 

September – May
A series of art workshops for developmentally (and some physically) challenged adults. Clients of the program choose from several workstations to develop and inspire their creative energies. Painting, printmaking, mixed media, seasonal crafts, costume jewelry, and even some special music workshops! 

Creative Discovery 

FREE CREATIVE DISCOVERY LESSONS

January – December
We offer free creative discovery sessions monthly in a wide-range of topics. Check our calendar for upcoming topics for 2026. If you have a skill you would like to share, we would love to hear from you.

Music in the Park

July–August
South Okanagan musical performers entertain at these relaxed outdoor concerts. Jazz, classical, country, pop, gospel, blues, and good ol’ rock and roll – every night is different. Concerts run every Thursday evening during July and August, 6:30 – 8:00 p.m. at the Oliver Community Stage. Admission by donation. Bring a lawn chair. Come early for the evening market in the park, 4:30 – 8:30 each Thursday. Food vendors for your concert picnic, a variety of retail and information booths, and kids activities. Come for the market, stay for the concert, love the sunset!

Oliver Creates

A Collaborative Art Show & Sale

September, 2026
Formerly known as The Fall Art Show & Sale.
Artists from all media exhibit a veritable harvest of colour and texture on the last weekend of September. The art show is held in conjunction with the Wine Capital Weekend (WCW). Friday 3pm – 6pm, Saturday 11am to 5pm and Sunday 11am to 5pm. Admission by donation. 

South Okanagan Stitchers

This is a new program for 2026! Join fibre loving members who love slow stitching, weaving, knitting and other creative made-by-hand endeavours. Check our calendar for events that you can join.
