Oliver Community Arts Council

The Quail’s Nest Arts Centre is owned and operated by the Oliver Community Arts Council and rented to members exclusively for arts-and-culture related purposes.

THE QUAILS’ NEST STUDIO

The Studio Building is used for our own programming and is also rented to OCAC members.

The smaller Studio Building is great for meetings, workshops, and art classes.
It has:
two large bays with insulated overhead doors
controllable gas heating units
small wash-up kitchen
larger kitchen with appliances and dining ware
accessible washroom facilities
tables and chairs
large utility sinks and counters
peg boards
other properties such as plinths and AV equipment can be made available by special arrangement.

BIG BLUE

The larger Big Blue Building is leased to SOAP Theatre exclusively through to June 2026 and is not available for any other use.

We accept rentals for single-use special events, weekend use, weekly or monthly activities and for OCAC “Summer Studio Weeks”.

We do not accept rentals for any ongoing business purpose, although our member businesses are welcome to use the facility for occasional events and meetings, just like any other arts council member.

No sublet or rental arrangement through the lessee is permitted.

We reserve the right to decline bookings that do not meet our arts mandate for building use. Just ask us!

Rental Enquiries

Arts centre bookings appearing on the booking calendar may be updated suddenly. No venue space and time slot can be guaranteed without a rental contract.

Check our Booking Calendar to see what space is available. Select your preferred dates and times.
Use the Contact Form at the bottom of this page OR Email us at OliverCAC @ gmail.com to inquire about booking your rental date(s). You must be a member in good standing. Then complete the rental.
When the rental agent confirms your proposed dates, download the rental contract for the Studio Building from the Members Only page. Fill out, sign, and submit the rental form WITH each payment. Payment must be received BEFORE your rental date(s). Payment by cheque or e-transfer is preferred. For repeat renters, we encourage reducing the number of your payments by paying quarterly.
