OCAC Membership Options




Join the creativity available in Oliver, BC!
We’d love to have you!
Each membership to the OCAC is good for one calendar year and can be purchased at any time during the year. Membership fees are not pro-rated.
Check out the membership benefits below by scrolling through the four possible levels of membership in the Oliver Community Arts Council (full details in Levels of Membership PDF available in the link provided). Select the level that is suitable for you, your group, family or business.
Note: Group and Business Members get only one vote at the AGM. If group members or employees want to vote, they must each purchase an Individual Membership.
Member Benefits
There are many benefits to being a member of the OCAC including:
- Creative Minds newsletter
- Reduced entry fees to some events (please enquire)
- Ability to rent the Studio building (for meetings, events etc)

Levels of OCAC Membership
There are four levels of membership in the Oliver Community Arts Council for those interested in:
- learning about the local arts
- receiving Creative Minds newsletter
- entering arts-related events

Individual

Suited for an individual supporter.
Individual Membership benefits include:
- ability to submit arts news items to the website, Arts Jam, and Creative Minds of a non-commercial nature on their own behalf e.g. art journal entry, personal art project, an award or other recognition received, or other personal activity
- reduction on fees at some OCAC events, if advertised as such. For example, one individual member is entitled to enter art in the Fall Art Show and Sale at a reduced registration fee or have a display booth at the occasional public event
- one vote at the Annual General Meeting
- access to rent the Quail’s Nest Arts Centre (Studio Building) for personal use e.g. personal art project
- ability to submit arts news items to the website, Arts Jam, and Creative Minds of a non-commercial nature on their own behalf e.g. art journal entry, personal art project, an award or other recognition received, or other personal activity
Household
Suited for members of a household (family, extended family) who have more than one person interested and/or active in the arts.
Household Member benefits include:
- submission of arts news items to the website, and Creative Minds of a non commercial nature on their own behalf e.g. art journal entry, personal art project, an award or other recognition received, or other personal activity.
- reduction on fees at some OCAC events, if advertised as such. For example, each member is entitled to enter art in the Fall Art Show and Sale at a reduced registration fee or each purchase a booth for an event at a reduced rate.
- one vote for each member of the household at the Annual General Meeting.
- access to rent the Quails’ Nest Arts Centre (Studio Building) and properties (tables, chairs, plinths, etc.) for personal use e.g. personal art project.
Group
Suited for a club, non-profit society, or charity.
Group Member benefits include:
- promoting their arts-related events through a number of publicity options
- coordinating with other groups and businesses on events
- ability to submit arts news items to the Quails’ Nest bulletin board, online media, and Creative Minds newsletters. Photos, articles, announcements, posters are all welcome.
- publicity of their events, as long as those events profit the group. e.g. exhibits, concerts, workshops, e.g. exhibits, concerts, workshops, markets, productions, markets, productions, classes, award or recognition received, news.

Suited for a for-profit enterprise (generating financial benefit dispersed to individuals), proprietorship or corporation.
Business Member benefits include:
- promoting their arts-related events through a number of publicity options.
- corordinating with other groups and businesses on evenets, and/or supporting the local arts community
- ability to submit arts-related news and promotional items to our online media, the Quails’ Nest bulletin board and publicity racks, and Creative Mind newsletter. Photos, articles, and announcements, posters are all welcome.
- a reduction on fees at some OCAC events. e.g. purchase a booth at an event at a reduced reate.
- one vote at the Annual General Meeting.
- access to rent the Studio Building at the Quails’ Nest Arts Centre and properties (tables, chairs, plinths, etc.) for their own events. These may include corporate parties, promotions, sales, staff meetings and retreats.

- EMAIL: the completed form to olivercac@gmail.com and follow-up with an e-transfer.
