Get an eyeful of colour at Oliver Art Gallery

Summer in the Okanagan isn’t complete without a tour of the area’s art galleries. Oliver Art Gallery is a fine place to start, located right downtown on Oliver’s Main Street just south of the traffic lights at Fairview Road.

The featured artist this month is Bonny Roberts, A.F.C.A. Bonny has been painting with a love of all media for as long as she can remember. She has taught and still teaches in many workshops. With a number of awards under her belt, Bonny has sold her paintings world wide and is known for her work in the science of colour. Her work stirs the viewers emotions with energy and colour. Bonny has been a long time member of the Federation of Canadian Artists and has achieved the A.F.C.A. status.

In July, two new artists joined the co-operative gallery:

Jennifer Farnell (Setting on Top)

Dave Nicholas (White Lake Sagebrush)
