Show your support for the Oliver Community Arts Council by purchasing your tickets for this fundraising event. Big Band Spectacular is an evening of swing, jazz, and pop tunes, with a big dollop of musical theatre thrown in. 

The Penticton Concert Band returns after the well-received “Starry Night” concert last November.  Their programme includes music from West Side Story, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Les Miserables, The Blues Brothers, and Moulin Rouge. A special feature  will be a medley of tunes from the 30s and 40s called “Big Band Spectacular”. A number of selections from a variety of genres including pop, country and classical, round out the evening.

Joining the Penticton Concert Band on stage for their own set  is the local jazz ensemble, Jazz Out West with Jim Wyse (keyboard), Bob Larratt (bass), Bob Park (drums), Iris Larratt (vocals). This classy group has had professional gigs at tourist destinations such as Club Med resorts.
