Who are these children and why are they smiling?

Meet the Holy Cross Children’s Choir, one of many youthful performance groups participating in the

Community Christmas Concert
Sunday December 2
 2:30 p.m.
Venue: Oliver Alliance Church
FREE admission – donations gratefully accepted

Catch some Christmas spirit at this lively afternoon concert. You’ll be sure to enjoy such local talent as the Oliver Elementary School Chorus, the SOSS Jazz Band, the Oliver Handbell Ringers (both Swinging Bronze and Desert Bronze bell choirs) the SOSS Musical Futures Choir, Silly String Theory Jazz Band, and the Oliver Dance Studio — all with an exciting, varied repertoire including traditional carols, winter songs, and a few surprises!

The concert promises to be lots of fun for the whole family. Besides the performances on stage, the audience will have a chance to vie for several fun prizes by answering questions about all sorts of holiday traditions. Children will leave with a goodie bag at the end of the show.

Donations to the Oliver Food Bank and the Oliver Community Arts Council are warmly welcomed. Spread the Christmas cheer, and ensure that community arts events like this one can continue! Bring along some non-perishable items to fill our food bank box, and cash or cheque to help fill the arts council donation jar.

Presented by the Oliver Community Arts Council (OCAC). Find out about other arts events by visiting the arts council table in the foyer. Attractive arts council mugs and memberships will also be available for sale.

The OCAC gratefully acknowledges community sponsors for this event: Oliver Daily News (advertising), and grocery stores SuperValu and Buy-Low (goodies). The OCAC is funded by the Province of BC, the BC Arts Council, and by the Town of Oliver and the RDOS through the Oliver Parks and Recreation Society.
