The Oliver Community Arts Council is officially launching an updated quail logo. It will gradually start appearing on advertising, publications and correspondence as we update our files.
The Board approved the final design after discussing a number of layout, graphics and font options. The quail itself has received a small facelift to facilitate vectored use. The fonts have been updated to be clean, modern, and readable.
The colourful logo represents the local geography and palette: sun, sky, hills, and harvests. The fluid swaths of colour also suggest a variety of art forms: brushstrokes, lengths of fabric, even the flowing motions of dance and other performance art.
Four versions have been created to accommodate possible uses and space constraints: banners, posters, letterhead, and so on. Two versions incorporate our tag line “Art Learned ~ Art Loved ~ Art Lived” .
Need to use our logo for your OCAC committee or publicity acknowledgement for a sponsored event? Contact the council at OliverCAC @ gmail.com for high resolutions of all four versions.
