Hey! Hey! We’re the arts council!

Representatives from all our member groups and a rep from one of  our 12 businesses (carrying a sign with all business names listed) proudly marched down Oliver’s main street on Saturday July 14 as an entry in the International Sunshine Festival Parade.

The contingent was warmly greeted with cheers and applause all along the route.  The design concept of  an “umbrella”  connecting all the artists, arts groups and businesses was instantly recognizable to even those unfamiliar with the arts council. What a great way to advertise WHO we are and HOW we operate!
