With the annual Arts & Crafts Fair less than a month away, guild members are creating cosy wearables and unique home items to sell. The Fair will take place on November 16 and 17 at the Oliver Community Hall. Watch for details coming up!

The recent Fibre Festival held at the Shatford Centre in Penticton proved successful with vendors from the Okanagan and surrounding areas.

Plans to felt two cottages in playhouse size for entry in the Association of Northwest Weavers conference to be held in Bellingham, Wash. The conference theme of “crossing borders” will be portrayed in the felted work which will be on display locally after the conference. Felting will be done by teams of Guild members beginning next month.

Desert Sage Spinners & Weavers hold drop in sessions every Thursday at the Oliver Community Centre from 9:30 to 2 pm. Visitors are welcome.
